I got invited to a local political forum a couple of years ago, but recently took the time to create an account using a non-descript username on one of my alternate email addresses and started discussing on topics....

I was new to the forum an did my odd mix of anon imageboard, SA/KF style way how I discuss topics. Lots of generalisations, citing sources and due to a lack of sleep my autistic autopilot took over that went in full discussion mode, everything that could be addressed got addressed. Different opinion on something? Fine, that's ok. Started defending the validity of my sources, started to demand theirs. I was honest about my intent, marked things as iffy if I thought it was bordering on something iffy ( and I still got shit despite being transparent. )

So at the end of the day it was apparent that my approach of discussing topics didn't fit with the regulars on the forum, its culture and there is a disconnect between them and me. They all have assumptions about my intent and I am labeled as a far-right extremist or something ( I see myself more like an edgy hippie libertarian with centrist leanings) and got accusations of framing and dog-whistle thrown at me.

It was glorious, will do the same again tomorrow! 🙂

@Oblivia Where the fuck is this taken? These roads look horrible! 🤣

@DuchessOfMars @freemo

I also get this feeling this is some kafkatrap for the police.

On one hand they either enforce the law and arrest people crossing barriers errected implying that people should stay out in this troubeling time. And get shit on for detaining somehone.

On the otherhand if they didn't and let the person in question off with a warning or a small slap on the wrist. ( I hate bringing up gender and race, but thats impossible with things related the USofA right now ) people would give them shit for allowing a white women to get away things like this.

This said, I am not going have any strongly held opinions on this incident. I have NFC what the intent was of the parties involved.

@freemo Tyranny of the USA would imply you can't talk shit about your leadership and the surrounding structure without disappearing in the middle of the night or in the case of Hong Kong elevate the suicide statistic consisting out of mostly democracy activists.

You may want to look into how Jorge Ramos was treated by two different leaders.

@matrix This is going to drain your money hard with no noticable returns...

Guess I will be coding in the Unity Engine from now on... 😕

@freemo

Addendum: Image search for images of pol meetups. It is an surprisingly diverse group of individuals.

@kino

I couldn't sleep and was on 8ch to kill time, just moments after NZ thing happened, safe to say I didn't sleep that night. It was fucking surreal seeing that unfold. (The fucking idiot.)

@freemo @timorl

@kino

Same. People adopted it because the media was spassing out about, not that it was a legitimate gangsign. Remember the whole milk thing?

@freemo @timorl

@freemo I wouldn't equate the /pol/ board with the entirety 4chan. It is generally seen as a containment board where people can LARP some random political idealogy. What you are doing now is like pointing to an ethnic minority in a region and say: this region now consists entirely out of this ethnicity. Its that levels of wrong.

As for 4chan, the other boards will tell you to GTFO if you come with topics you would see in /pol/, nor do they really care much about most of what is going on in /pol/ ( I mean, go to /gif/ and you have like 5 blacked and cuck threads at any time, that is so white-supremacist of them /s).

As for , if you fall for that trick your critical thinking may need some looking into. Chances are that monday all the usial outlets will start publishing about this hashtag and issue warnings like they have always done in the past.

(I remember 8chan's LeftyPol and how everyone LARPed being communist revolutionaries, it was glorious.. I miss 8chan sometimes. /v/ and /b2/ <3 )

@freemo ( tired AF, longform no go ) Has this thing with the tank been tested somewhere?

@theblessing NFC who the broad is.. Voted for that Candadian artery choker.

@freemo I have been thinking about this in the past and the idea is not new (Event Horizon from 1997? uses this mechanic).

Besides adding a ton of extra weight to the airframe (baaaad) you would still have to deal with brains getting put under server pressure, blood draining from the brains and the ability to move your limbs in case its needed.

This how ever can be mitigated by flying a bird remotely. EW becomes a thing, latency, airframes not being able to handle high-G loads, equipment on hardpoints unable to handle the Gs It is prolly cheaper to have like 500 drones with explosives swarm your target and zerg-rush the fuck out of it.
