@LukeAlmighty this isn't about my supposed standards.

It's about your actual standards.

@LukeAlmighty literally all the evidence is that he doesn't care.

I understood the "human shield" thing to be about shielding himself from criticism, not literally putting a baby in front of a woman with a gun. I may be wrong on that, but I don't think these women were literally talking about shooting him like the United Healthcare guy (although, maybe it would be for the better anyways).

Again, you "kinda expect" him to care. That is based on surface-level reasoning clearly gleamed from "right-wing" Twitter or other social-media shit-takes.

The reality is that he just doesn't care.

He has 6 (or more) children with multiple mothers. He doesn't give a damn about any of them.

He cares more about his latest Ket fix than his own children.

@LukeAlmighty Musk doesn't give a shit about his own children.

Yes, he quite literally uses them for photo-ops, and that's it.

That is part of the reason his kid went trans.

You have a problem of only seeing things on a surface level. You need to look deeper.

Do some actual research.

@bruh_momento

But then "le based" Americans like Asmongold say more C(r)apitalism (TM) is the answer, lol.

C(r)apitalism (TM) without any regulation is what caused this!

Literally, libertarian economics 101.

@beardalaxy

Imagine going on a rant about price-increases and you use fucking McDonalds as your example instead of just normal grocery items from the fucking supermarket that won't clog your arteries and kill you.

Asmongold is just like all the other Twitter/Youtube "Conservative" "influencers" of the last 2-3 years.

He's in it for the grift and for money. He doesn't even fully understand the ideas he's arguing for, he just sees that the algorithm is pushing them, so he pushes them because it gets more views.

@LukeAlmighty I didn't give it to the left.

I said progress happens, regardless of if you or I like it or not. Society moves, in spite of people trying to stop it. History does not stop. It can't be stopped.

Much of the "progress" I see I don't like, or at the very least am ambivalent to.

Read what I wrote again.

@ChristiJunior

You say "left-liberal", yet "right-liberals" are the same.

Trump is a "right-liberal" by all accounts.

Either way, they're both liberals.

Liberalism is the ideology of maintaining the status quo. It's why there is almost no daylight between Red and Blue team.

Liberalism is not progressivism. Many progressives don't like "liberals" and routinely rant about them "betraying" the ordinary folk who want real change.

All "liberals" argue for is "Classical Liberalism" all the fucking time, and that shit is way past its use-by date.

providencemag.com/podcast/ep-5

@LukeAlmighty progressives push society forward, whether you or I like it or not.

So the trick is to adapt to the times, accept the situation and overcome it using its own power against it.

In order to defeat "progressives", one must become a progressive.

In order to put out large forest fires, one may have to start a smaller fire.

Yaddah yaddah, etcetera etcetera...

@xyfdi yeah, the observation isn't new, but the solution I propose is relatively new. I'm not the only one saying it, to be fair.

"Conservatives" are afraid of embracing progressivism because they view it as "left-wing" or whatever, whereas progresivism is neither left or right-wing. Progressivism is about taking society forward.

Margaret Sanger's eugenicist reasoning behind advocating for abortion is a good example.

Margaret Sanger was a progressive.

How do the "Conservatives" react to her policies?

"Dems r da reel raisins!!!! Abortion bad because it kills blaq peepo (who I hate but don't tell anyone)!!!!!"

Lunacy. Self-own. Bruh moment.

Another realization I've come to.

The solution to the problem of Conservatives always either losing or cucking is to be radically progressive, unironically.

Neither Dem or Rep (both betray their bases all the time), but progressive,Teddy Roosevelt style.

They don't realize how silly and a self-own a meme like this is.

Progressives are "the times". "And the times they are a changing". Progressives are the chugachugachoochoo that moves society. You just have to accept it.

"Conservatives" want to go back or stop time honestly from my perspective mostly out of fear of the unknown. "Nothing lasts forever".

You don't survive by swimming against a current. If you do that, you just tire yourself out and then drown. You survive by riding the current downstream until you find land or the current subsides so you can escape.

Or, instead of a current, think of "riding the tiger"...

One of these days I'll extrapolate on this further...

@LukeAlmighty compare Muslims travelling to the United Kingdom (no longer really a Christian nation) to the numbers of non-Muslims from outside Europe doing the same.

You'll find that Muslims are a fractional minority in comparison to other groups (Africans, Indians, Chinese etc..).

You'll also find that most sexual crimes are in fact not committed by Muslims (even when taking into account their minority status, they are underrepresented, at least in the UK from what I've studied).

Indeed, in many or most cases, the Muslims are refugees, so it's not like they're going there only because of "sex-tourism".

@LukeAlmighty I don't think most Muslims would condone travelling to Christian/atheist lands and having pre-marital sex...

Then again, Turks are "Muslim" in the same way Bosniaks are "Muslim", meaning, they like alcohol and girls and it's all kinda a LARP tbqh.

A nation of Bald and Bankrupts.

@beardalaxy at least one of those images (left) has the telltale signs of being AI-generated, but I get the point. AI is improving.

Still, it's not real.

We have to maintain that distinction, because if there is no difference between AI and reality, then humanity is fucked. We will no longer be in control.

Might as well just become the Borg at that point.

@beardalaxy

I can still tell the difference between AI (even realistic AI) and actual stuff. That's not to say that AI isn't getting better, but that there is a difference between the two. I think the distinction is important.

It's like how for a while (and still to this day, I think) weed and heroin were both considered schedule 1 drugs. Funnily enough, Fent is classed as schedule 2 (lower than weed, lol) by the DEA.

My main point is that people have got to stop it with these knee-jerk overemotional reactions to stuff.

Those sorts of reactions cause more harm than good.

@beardalaxy furthermore, just to react to another point you made, about "the world" waking up to "the issue", that again is likely overblown, and probably based upon the notion that "the world" is just all Anglo nations, which as I point out quite often, are simultaneously extremely prudish (almost Puritan) while also being extremely degenerate.

Imagine making that much fuss over AI porn while ignoring real shit. That was the exact point I made regarding the BBC's article.

(Here is the article, for reference: bbc.com/news/uk-65932372)

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the "I train my girls on my PC" comment, and it was on a cartoon loli x futa post or some shit. Hardly "realistic".

They mention "Stable Diffusion" as a prime player. I can't really remember porn from that AI, but I'm sure there were signs that it wasn't "realistic". Things like 4 fingers, or webbed hands/feet etc...

Of course, irony of ironies is that nudist photos of children are apparently fine, even though, you know, they're real children, not AI, and they're, you know, nude. But if it's AI shit, then it's bad, even though it's not real (in at least the vast majority of cases).

"The NPCC's Ian Critchley said he was also concerned that the flood of realistic AI or "synthetic" images could slow down the process of identifying real victims of abuse."

The very same point I made just a couple of paragraphs above.
