Never forget that the only reason shaved faces are in fashion is because in World War I men needed to have clean shaven faces so their gas masks would seal against their skin and they wouldn't die, and also being a soldier was very good and being not a soldier meant you were a coward and so having the fashion of a soldier was in fashion and to this day we in the west shave our faces.
