@vitalis Did you know that a term for rape in shitty olden times was "outraged". I saw a historical account of knights who "outraged" a mothers children in front of her. The wording struck me as odd and it took some digging but I learned that "outrage" used to mean a particularly brutal and violent rape, brutal enough to cause death. I imagine they'd do things like run them through during or after or as part of the rape. Some kings and their knights deserve to die.

@vitalis Any time a woman of nobility was ambushed I believe rape was involved which is why women would commonly kill themselves throughout history during sieges. Nuns would cut their noses off so they'd be goulish and they'd be not attractive to look at, to dissuade rape.

Here's how you should think about race if you want to stop being racist. I wish I could have been a well cared for and well loved sausier (very fancy chef that specializes in making sauces), so well loved and well cared for by such a kindhearted noble that I was never overworked or abused, and I was given a women of virtue for my wife who the noble I served would never rape or allow to be raped. I'm finally watching Star Trek Discovery because my racism and misogyny have finally been dealt with enough that I'm enjoying the show. It's amazing, it's like I'm watching a completely different show, I don't remember it being this way at all when I first watched it all those years ago.
