A true story: I tried doing that once. For 20 minutes I pretended to be the right kind of retarded, that is accepted by society.

4 guys I never met before all agreed that I was some cool guy. (I know that from an older friend)

The problem? I felt horrible. It was like watching a tv series instead of living. When the time came, I just 'pressed the right button' and the movie continued.

I learned nothing from them. I was not even truly talking to them. I was just a perfect mirror for their insecurities. And I cannot live like that.

Political tricodomy is strange.
I get it, people have different values, but one is just so opposed to any kind o logic, it drives me nuts.

Conservatives: We need a strong nation so we can be sure our children will grow in a prosperous society. (Sounds good )

Libertarians: Basic security is required to sustain a functional society, but further expansion of authoritarianism would not enable for individual search for happiness. (Ok, I get it )

Liberals: this society is not exactly to my liking, so I will burn it down unless they get more niggers into the ruling elite... (What??? )

Am I the only one struggling to find a philisiphical baseline for such views?

It's what's in the books, but from my experience, I can tell that (even if it is possible that it's accurate at the worse ends), in my life, there was never a problem with not seeing emotions, but interpreting them in a different context.

I am thinking oriented, meaning, that when I am thinking deeply, I look depressed, while I am happy. When people expect me to be kind, I care more about the rough truth.

In other words, I believe that it's all about a personality difference, but I do not believe it's a 'disability'.

But I was diagnosed, so what do I know. I am just an autistic idiot after all.
