It seems to me that every generation, there is less space for sheep behavior. Not because it's not beneficial, but because the society keeps pushing the sheep towards one wall after another.

The problem is, huge technical change is incoming. But I have no idea if it's going to build more wall for sheep to run into, or if it's going to remove them.

So I am not sure about that awakening. Not sure at all...

A true story: I tried doing that once. For 20 minutes I pretended to be the right kind of retarded, that is accepted by society.

4 guys I never met before all agreed that I was some cool guy. (I know that from an older friend)

The problem? I felt horrible. It was like watching a tv series instead of living. When the time came, I just 'pressed the right button' and the movie continued.

I learned nothing from them. I was not even truly talking to them. I was just a perfect mirror for their insecurities. And I cannot live like that.

Political tricodomy is strange.
I get it, people have different values, but one is just so opposed to any kind o logic, it drives me nuts.

Conservatives: We need a strong nation so we can be sure our children will grow in a prosperous society. (Sounds good )

Libertarians: Basic security is required to sustain a functional society, but further expansion of authoritarianism would not enable for individual search for happiness. (Ok, I get it )

Liberals: this society is not exactly to my liking, so I will burn it down unless they get more niggers into the ruling elite... (What??? )

Am I the only one struggling to find a philisiphical baseline for such views?
