@matana I don't read comicbooks, but when there is a known joke, that there is no "first book to buy", you have a problem.
Noone likes reboots, because they are "micro reboots" where it still is in the same multiverse, only 1/20th of the usiverse is rebooted etc, and it still doesn't help you to begin, since you don't know how will it fit into the new universe.

Oneshots is another solution to the same issue, but they do need to build the connections eventually.

Higher education is expensive, but not that expensive considering that it still does serve as a gateway to high end employment.

To call arts uni an education is a joke though. Social science... better to not even start on that topic.

But when it comes to pharma, I might be stupid, but I can recognize a difference between a diagnosis and a scripted anwser.
And when the doctor does 0 tests, and just says "just grab some anti-biotics", that is a scripted anwser. And you do put a body altering chemicals based on that anwser, that (reminder) they spend 0 thought on.

Comicbook industry can be saved, but that would require a following:
1) do a TOTAL REBOOT, that people will understand is serious
2) Set a deadline, where next reboot will occur (for instance 5 years)
3) Make sure that each new reboot will be marked as clearly as possible, so people understand the release order and universe.

Or am I getting the issue wrong?
