My definition of evil is a train staying in place 1h before the departure, but with locked doors.

There is no good created by locking the doors. Yet, someone made that choice knowing, that people are waiting outside, unable to relax.

Viruses are on the edge of all classical definitions of life, since even though it can evolve, contains RNA etc, it is unable to reproduce it's onw RNA by itself.
