Yeah, I am just saying, that I'm not surprised that they got addicted, when it forced them to this behavior.

I used to consider smokers weak and stupid.

But no. They aren't weak. They just don't realize, that smoking is not just a drug, but a chance to:
1) Get outside of the building 3 times a day
2) Spend time just with your thoughts
3) Spend time with other people who are open to just talk while smoking.

And that is a great trade for ruined health when you think about it.
