This one isn't about complexity.

It is about the moral framework they were rised into. Less pain better is all they needed to understand to be "good people".

And to be fair, it does go a long way most of the time.

Is it weird, that when I think about Mass effect, I would love to re-play the 2nd one, but just don't feel like playing the first?

Aw man, why can’t I have an airborne home-away-from-home ship built by hyperracist white supremacists to stealthily backstab “friendly” alien races?

@chris
Just look up how people talk about incels.
Compassion is a fucking myth. If an idea of a guy who isn't hurting anyone, isn't unproductive etc, and just cannot find anyone is deserving of that insane level of hatred, how do you expect people to care about creatures as twisted and far gone as drug addicts?

@givenup @rlier23 @Druid
It is changing enough.

A one man standing is an opening for a new market.

@rlier23 Wokeness in a video game is like shit in ice cream. If it's only a tiny bit you might not realize, but once companies realize they can put it in, it will quickly become standard and in enough quantity to notice.

Well, yes and no.
The entire point of mocap is to cut the artist out of the process. It is an automated machine, that takes points on model and points on actor, and uses both to generate movement.

If your mocap process results in deformed base, it is a technical issue, and has to be solved before artists even get involved.

@SettlerLife @rlier23 @udongle @jimmybuffettfanaccount @Paleloon @PunishedD
That sounds to me like a cheap excuse.
Mocapped output can be fixed. And once you get the multipliers correct once, it should be an automated process.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Before you say, that this is a strawman, Don orget, that average street preacher will point to a tree and tell you to your face, that it's a proof of god.⚠️⚠️⚠️

This is a paradox, that comes from the two supposed properties of God.
1) He's all powerful
2) He's all good.

So, to solve this paradox, you have to do one of 4 things.
1) reduce his power > He's not the god described
2) Say, He's not all good > he's not the god described
3) Say, these 2 properties cannot coexist with existence of described god
4) Suggest, that his good morality has a higher priority, then removal of all suffering. But this is not a convention that 99 percent of the population is capable of. It is beyond their intellectual capabilities.

Look at the vax debate for example. Once on one hand there was a micro chance of death, they were willing to throw away literally all of their freedoms, and they thought it was in fact moral. So, good luck introducing that concept to the masses. :blobbyebrows:
