Don't tell me, that the fidget spinner economy failed again...

My mathematical model of exponential growth of 30% per month was rock solid.

If this trend continues, 10 years from now, people will admit the briliance of JarJar Binks.

Did Darth Vader redeem himself at the end of Ep.6?

@milk
100% Accurate. They didn't even try with this mission, yet the artificial hype around it is insane.

I mean, each of these offices had a who.... secretary at the entrance.

If that doesn't tell you the way, these people see the office, then I don't know what will.

Position name: IT Administrator

What do they actually expect me to do? An IT support for customers... I can live with that. But that's definitely not what I expected.

> User has an internet connection issue. What do you do?
Me: I try to instruct user to do a trace route
Them: WRONG!!! You have to connect to them remotely.

I think I do not want this job anymore... :andyburnt:

Being a Gen Z looking for work quite eye opening.

I have visited 10 absolutely beautiful office buildings. Each with a secretary offering me a drink at entrance and a clean room made for zoom calls.

This was made to be a haven for the managerial millenial. It is obvious they have spent a fortune perfecting every detail.

Yet.... It is all a cage for me, and I will sit here, and ask for a remote work. No wonder their mind cannot comprehend it 🤣🤣🤣

They are the "I am cool for myself" instead of "I am cool to appeal to the normie expectation". So, I fully get, why people got repelled by them fast.

But the 3rd Spiderman definitely doesn't deserve ANY of the hate it gets. It is just as breathtaking as the day I saw it for the first time.

The escalation of 3rd act was a sudden jump, but the first 2 chapters were pure and sweet character work needed for the last one to have the weight it does.

Harry is the best example. You cannot do a full redemption arc, without the guy doing something horrible, and being anoying for 2 movies seiously doesn't count. So, the work they did with him both boulds up on the tension from the first 2 movies, while also stuffing several character defining moments.

First movie: A bit conservative. You cannot break the world in an unexplored territory.

But the 2nd and 3rd movies are both platinum grade as far as I can rate.

Another note:
MJ literally spends 15 minutes laying under a car. Not only is she not glued, she has practice in moving on these webs by now. She knows how to walk on them.

JUST GET TO THE BUILDING. This might be one of the worst "damsels in destress" I have seen in a long time.

I am obviously rewatching Spiderman 3 right now, and I cannot believe just how pointlessly bad Peter's reputation got tarnished by this scene.

Is it a bit cruel? Sure. But it happened already AFTER MJ left him AND she didn't even tell him about her change of jobs. He is now in a full right to find himself a better girl, as well as be obnoxious about it. She is OUT OF THE PICTURE. She has no right to demand special treatment anymore.

An year of legal battle with nintendo is hardly a win.

I guess I can celebrate a bit, but this feels so empty.
