1 newton per m^2 = masic unit pascal.

But because the french got offended once, we ruin the entire system and make a basic unit of weight to be a kilogram.
The entire multiplication system is off by a factor of 1000 for no reason.

Not to mention, that the basic weight shoult be meter ^3 of water instead of dm^3 of water, so the basic unit should have weighted a ton.
