When I was young, I used to be confused about all of the Nazi hate. What was so fundamentally different about germans born in 1920s that they deserved such a deep hate was beyond me.

But now, I understand that it was never about Germans. It was about people who want a community.

The more I hear about the Disneyland, the less I want to go.

The idea of a park simulating living in that universe sounds amazing and worth paying for, but I want a SIMULATION, not a highlight reel of a 1 in a million situation.

They will try again, but the core issue is, that the technology is laughably bad for making money.

I know this anecdote is filling the entire internet right now, but you can hype up a fucking tulip. Speculative investment was part of shiny hat trading for ages. NFTs make it complicated and actually scarier, then in-game market place.

I just saw a movie, where plot went like this:
A hero informs people, that a monster will destroy the village.
Villigers are hesetant to leave, but will do so if needed.
After some complications, heroes decide to kill the monster to protect the village
A group is formed
Fight prepup
Fight goes bad
Village is destroyed
2 heroes die
The end.

So.... it's a story about how 2 heroes died pointlessly.... WHAT?

It's actually quite crazy to see the rate of mobile games being discontinued.

Almost as if "game as a service" was a bad idea. I follow a lot of star wars mobile games, and most of them disappear within an year.

The game shut the servers after 2 years....

A well done Monster Hunter clone was actually thrown to a trash over night... How expensive can it be to keep the servers up? That's insane.

(I was trying to play Rangers of Oblivion btw)
