As you said in your comment, tha problem begins, when the writers stop caring, but as we saw with other franchises like Star Trek, this process was held for a fucking 39 years.

And yes, it does force you to watch shit you care less about, but that is a good thing from their point. And it does increase the value ov good movies exponentially, since they can use much longer storytelling.

Without a consistant universe, it's a movie about buff guy fighting another buff guy underwater.

That is, because 9/10 superhero movies these days are a "fight your own clone origin story". And this flash was obviously yet again the same movie I saw 30 times in last decade.

But seriously, at this point, I don't care about the game, since the devs themselves cannot decide if they even want to do FPS, RPG, city builder or a flight sim.

An aquaman trailer just dropped, and I have no idea in what universe it takes place. And there are at least 3 options now.

I get, that california land prices are insane, and blackrock needs to lower them, but could they at least try doing it in a less obvious way?
