A friend of mine asked, how long do I think, that all of this anime craze is going to last for. He said, that we are at the peak.
I seriously couldn'tndisagree more. The entire centralized west culture is crumbling, and the only institution that was holding it together (holywood) had given up.
The west had fallen, and in 10 years, you won't recognize, that US ever had any influence to begin with.

Many people will argue that "it's all just nostalgia" and crap like that. It's not. Here is the perfect example. I went to Android, and opened the default calculator just to see how it works.
The very first thing I'm greeted with, is a message telling me to open a menu if I wanted to see a "privacy statement" regarding the app. May I ask why is my calculator using the internet? Because I don't remember my CASIO fx-82MS S-V.P.A.M ever doing that.
It's not like it's the most advanced calculator ever anyways. It has the most basic arithmetical operations, plus natural logarithms and a few trig functions and their inverses. And that's it.
Meanwhile my Casio can do way more than that. Permutations, factorials, squares to the power of n, hyperbolic functions, convert angles to minutes and seconds, plus a bunch of statistical functions. And this isn't even an advanced calculator, like a TI-82. All without calling home or requiring an internet connection (to be fair the Android one doesn't require one, but still... it calls home).
I'm sorry but I thought that by 2023 we would at least be able to do so much with our phones. This is unacceptable. Of course I don't use the Android calculator, I either use my good old and reliable Casio calculator, or I use Graph 89 with a TI-89 ROM for anything slightly more complicated.
