@Mr_NutterButter
But that's exactly what I call the worst design.
I look up a toilet seat. I go to a shop, and I order a single toilet seat.

Google:
Oh, I see. You have to be a toilet seat collector. May I offer to you these exotic toilet seats from all over the world?

Or, as I mentioned before. If you're looking at: War thunder SL grind guide, I am sorry, but the chance, that you aren't playing WT, is about 0.01%. So, putting a WT advert on it is retarded.

@applejack
Weird, I always thought, that the point of targeted ads was, that you find people who already have the need for your product.

But that's my economics education making me retarded again :D

Also, I might have a different opinion, if I've ever seen a targeted advert working on me in the slightest. But it's always either general bullshit, or something I know about already.
Yes, I've played 1 000+ hours of War thunder. But what's this? A 30th War thunder advert? This time on a War thunder advanced grinding strats video? How did they know?

@BlinkRape @ChristiJunior
Yeah, I have played a few rounds of Mario too, when I was a kid. That doesn't mean I should give a fuck about it.

Targeted ads are not evil.

I would love, if all ads I got were in fact well targeted. But the collected info is being used for much more evil things, then ads. And noone is talking about that.

@sun
So, doctors are way too dumb to assign a gender, but Discord had found the formula :omegalul:

@ChristiJunior
Also, Mario is weird.
He should not be popular or iconic by any stretch, but Nintendo had been pushing him more, then legacy media are pushing for sleepy joe. With that kind of intense marketing, you cam make a mummy into a president, so of course, people know Mario.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2038)

@echo @ChristiJunior
I've been gaming my all life, and I can barely remember when I ever heard about the Pitfall or Centipede.

@ChristiJunior
I don't count ancient games as iconic, since they literally have no alternatives. Yes, people did grow up with them, but it's not about them being iconic as much as people having literally nothing to put in that place.

Nah...
I will call Minecraft, Pokemon, League of legends, Tomb Raider and World of Warcraft.

All of these games have a cult of their own, as well as iconography unique enough, that normies will recognize them on sight. I haven't seen a pong obsessed fan in a while. (Tetris is the only candidate from your selection, that I would accept, since it's cult is somehow still alive.)

How autistic can this game be?

There are 42 Yaku...

Getting excited because you think your pet boomer is de-programming himself from boomerconism until you notice he's using "communist leftists" and "nazis" interchangeably

Just when you were making headway, too.

"wow son you were right about those blacks, they're basically irredeemable" he says after getting ripped off by an illiterate hatian

"Man what is up with these jewish people, how is Ben Shapiro even "conservative" when the only thing he wants to conserve is israel?"

aw sweet he's finally figuring out the score

(he is, in fact, NOT figuring out the score.)

@NEETzsche
Drugs are a market so mature, that people are manufacturing their own submarines. So, I agree with you there.

But... If you have 0 shame though, there is this thing, that isn't even crime by itself...

Gurus are the modern equivalent. They sell curses for generating wealth, and the generated wealth is proof, that they know what they're talking about.

My favorite part? They do tend to talk about REAL economical/psychological principles in the free recruiting phase, actually spreading some important knowledge. But yeah, once a person starts buying, it's just a cult made to drain people.

And, thanks to Andrew Tate, this scheme might die soon too, but now, it's still alive and working.
