@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew that's the issue. a large part of teachers just strictly follow the guide lines in a boorish way and only expect results similar to the expected result.
the most succeeding classes though, are those where teachers show creativity, passion and allow outside of box projects.
I had a math teacher, that allowed me and another person in class to walk around, basically talk and help our class mates. just because we had no issues with the subject.
later, during my cs apprentice ship, in programming classes, I used the first 19 minutes of our 90 minute classes to do all of the lesson. and then I was allowed to do whatever. my desk mate and me had various challenges, like "let's compact that code while still staying readable" or "let's write a simple game" and such.
in the end, teacher even learned various techniques from us.
