The only good argument I could see was that you're still gonna have to pay a fuckton of money for getting utilities, permits and foundations set up and moving your house around is gonna be a pain in the ass no matter what so you might as well just save up some more cash and eiither build a real house or buy a camper van, but that's about it.
Really, if anything this video was made for retarded hipsters who look at these structurally deranged, ugly pods and think to themselves "Wow, that looks so quirky and unique and sustainable I need to live like that" and spend 100K on making a monstrosity that caves in under it's own weight within a year.
