If you are a consumer, with food inflation at 14.6% per annum, you doubtless wish that Jeremy Clarkson would shut up. If you are a farmer, with input inflation running at anything up to 400%, in the case of electricity, you applaud him for articulating a truth usually only whispered behind closed barn doors. Food is too cheap.

This only makes sense if they sell the house and get two smaller homes to live separately. Not if they move out, where are they gonna go? The total loss/benefit equation does not work out. Usually it's best to stay together, if only for the logistics.

Deadbeat children exist, too. It's just easier to become a deadbeat if you are dependent, it's demoralizing.

i sometimes think i'm a big ol' degenerate but at least i pay my own bills, buy my own food, live away from home, positively contribute to society, and have some semblance of integrity and public decency. i still have some friends that live with their parents and go to college doing pretty much nothing with their lives and i'm almost 30. wtf man.
