why does every american boomer brag about attending woodstock?
for anyone who doesn't know the story, woodstock was a music festival. the infamous incident they refer to was this one time they had really bad logistics (100k expected attendees, 400k actual) which overwhelmed the system, resulting in poor conditions and occasional violence
boomers, for some reason, are proud of not resorting to mass violence? like, rape and murder was kept to relatively low levels because boomers were able to cope with the stress of a mildly uncomfortable weekend getaway via an excess of drugs. they call that a triumph of peace, where by making sure most of the people were zonked out of their gourd for most of the time, their generation was able to maintain basic civility in the face of mild discomfort and no working toilets for three whole days
and they're proud of that? like, they chose to attend a crowded music concert and stay there for the drugs and there were only a couple of rapes and deaths during those 3 days and they see that as something to brag about? how fucking soft do you have to be to think that's impressive?

hey friends,
i am posting this unredacted in the interest of transparency with poast and its users.
this morning i received a call from the lawyer that established our LLC in Wyoming informing me that we have received a subpoena. this subpoena was filed on behalf of the north datoka human rights coalition, "immigrant development center" and doe against members they suspect are involved with patriot front. they have given me 6 days to comply.
it is a civil case in federal court in north dakota. they are requesting user data we don't have (request 3/4) due to data retention policies and public data available to literally anybody.
it looks like a fishing attempt against the users involved in the suit, and i have spent the morning on the phone with ~30 lawyers in Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota to find somebody to help me object to this. no help as of yet.
will definitely be costly,

I don't think people do understand what an autistic talent looks like. Yeah, one person can break the entire magic system, but what does it actually mean? Does it disprove some huge rule of the universe? Does it mean, that anyone can do it with few years of training? NO!!!!
Just think about it. Because I am an IT guy, and I can say with absolute certainty, that in IT, it literally works the same fucking way.
Because 80% of population barely can gasp how to use the computer to do some math for them. Excel tables are the peak of computer knowledge, they can possibly achieve.
Then you have the 1%ters, who can work in IT security. Who understand the code, and can possibly even work on a hacking protextion software........
And then, there is that ONE FURRY, who can out-troll the entire fucking industry, and hack his way around that software made by 1 000 talented individuals on his own anyway.
