If a coronavirus gets areosolized it can travel the distance of a football field. Social distancing is just a way to manipulate you into fearing and distrusting random strangers for no reason.
It's the same with masks. Supposedly they prevent the spread by containing the virus in your mouth or something. But there's no evidence that it actually works. Florida has no mask mandate, but it has a lower rate than NY does, which has a mask mandate.
A better analogy to your seatbeat premise, is to strengthen your immune system. For example, brown rice has arsinic in it. Arsinic is a poison, but in such small doses it just increases the amount of white blood cells, and strengthens your immune system. A much better defense than things that aren't proven to be effective.
