@coolboymew @LukeAlmighty @Hyolobrika @harblinger @mangeurdenuage What!?!?! But the girls buying macs from the university apple store LOVE how thin they are!!!!! Don’t tell me you don’t like forcing everything into a single Type C port! I absolutely love the simplicity of chaining 4 separate 5-slot USB hubs into one another in order to do my work!

MMMM mmmmm good! So simple and streamlined!!!

@Hyolobrika @LukeAlmighty @harblinger @mangeurdenuage them knowing nothing means they'll be more likely to trust a paid shill paid to lied about it because they don't have the minimum competency required to understand the information

@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew @Hyolobrika @harblinger @mangeurdenuage I smell the same scent as the iphone headphone jack:

“geez, who cares? If you still want old wired headphones then find another phone”

10 years later

“well no one uses wired phones anyway, just use bluetooth!!!!”

> A video ad, where a "gamer girl" is playing in 240FPS.
> As you can see, having 240 frames per secon is super important.

Me: On a 60Hz monitor watching a 30FPS video... suuuuuure?

@matana
I've just tried the food you've recomended several days ago...

It was awesome.

I guess I’ll go verbose

people with low ability should just suffer is incredibly stupid.

I was pointing out that particular use of should in your sentence. It’s not that they should, it’s just that they do. Idealists like to imagine a different use of should like: “People of high ability should forgo their own pleasure to lift those of low ability out of suffering”

Idealist thoughts like that are nice thoughts, but second order effects can bring about much more total suffering (think about the theory of evolution, if low ability offspring were lifted up and high ability offspring were suppressed, then as a total the species would suffer and become lower ability over time)

Does that communicate more effectively?
