The weirdest thing about the inflation is, that since the cheap stuff is getting more expensive faster then the luxurious shit, it makes all of it look a lot cheaper.
For instance, food at home went from 1/5th to 1/2 of food in restaurant.

Let's say you have a farm, and you raise some chickens.
You discover that one of the chickens is infected to the core with a disease. A theoretically curable disease if caught early. But this particular chicken is in late stage of the disease.
Do you still try to cure it, even though keeping it around poses a risk to you and the other chickens; or do you count your losses, kill it and burn the corpse?
Had an interesting conversation with a microbiologist today.
I asked her, if there is any known mechanism of transcribing RNA back into the DNA. She didn't hesitate for a single second. Of course there is.
