@LukeAlmighty dark souls for sure. i already deal with opponents with edged weapons all the time, respawning after a fight instead of living with a bum knee or a fucked rotator cuff sounds like paradise. going hollow and experiencing mental death after losing your will to live instead of being forced to stick around sounds like another massive upgrade
@LukeAlmighty
Attack on Titan is a pretty normal world beyond that one kingdom, that did that one thing that one time.
After the events of the anime, there are hundreds of years of peace and prosperity (or at least it's implied).

Berserk... the world is engulfed in nightmare? I'm not a fan, not sure exactly what happens, but it really seems like demons are unleashed upon the world, and there's no respite for anyone.

Warhammer 40... the galaxy is engulfed in nightmare, very few live well in luxury worlds, statistically, the odds you end up there are close to none, and the other races don't live much better.
Also, when you die, your soul gets shredded in the warp, or eaten by demons.

Dark Souls... most of history is reasonably normal, with brief periods of the world falling to despair, and some regions becoming infested with undead, trying to reset the world.
I guess statistically, you're not likely to end up face to face with monstrosities, that being said you still live in a world with dark-ages level of technology, good luck dying of dysentery.

AoT it is!

Isekai time:
Where do you want to enjoy your next life?
Your role in the next world will be completely random and with no extra benefits. Not even external knowledge.

I recently came across the perfect name for Eren's version of the Lelouch Ending in Attack on Titan:

Zero IQ Requiem

what boomers and x-ers fail to grasp when they mock zoomers for "not being able to handle 5-8" is that zoomers 5-8 is nothing like theirs ever was, when they were properly taught and introduced to the workforce; could freely socialize, drink cofe, and waste company time on petty drama; and even while wasting time they knew they would be paid good enough to support a family and even have some time nice vacation

nobody is there to teach zoomers pretty much anything even when (and they often do) pay for their internship instead of getting paid; no socializing can be done when eagle-eyed bosses screech when they "catch" you going to the bathroom; you have to be always available even after hours or else you're a "weak asset" and as a result get no rest; and when the payout is barely enough to pay rent and food but no luxuries like insulin, honestly, why even bother with 5-8

millennials are a special case, they never entered the workforce at all, forever denied by the "you have no work experience :(" barrier
