It would have been cool if Zelda was actually a fighter and the game was more of a serious one... a quirky gimmicky spinoff is okay but she's been more tough in previous games, I feel like. :<
Metroid Prime 4 looks sick though, Sylux confirmed, I hope they bring back some of the other hunters from MPH also... I am worried about it being made so late in the Switch's life though, it does look visually good and I know graffics isn't everything, but it would have been cool to see how good it looked with more graphical headroom.
Otherwise it okay, really seems like so many random JRPGs and other things. DQIII HD looks pretty sick, that series is always slept on I feel.
Fug, I wish I brought my Switch on this vacation, I wanna play MP1 now...
@beardalaxy RPG Maker is siiick though... I got a bunch of them on Steam, but I don't know how good they would be for actiony games, hmm
Okay I have been working with GameMaker again and it's weird how they went through
>one time purchase if you want to export
to
>subscription if you want to export
back to
>one time purchase if you want to export
It's kind of good now but kind of not? They dropped "GameMaker Studio 2" even though the IDE is nearly the same, just call it "GameMaker" now, and now my Pro license doesn't count for the new vanilla "GameMaker" line. Like, okay I can still use GMS2 which they last updated in November 2023, but that will be left in the dust in a few years time, just like GMS1. But nu-GameMaker isn't even a super crazy advancement like it was for GMS1.4 to GMS2, so they literally just rebranded it to get you to fucking pay again! Fucking Opera!!! Bitches!!!
Fun to fuck around in it again but I should just use Godot or learn2code for real I guess
@beardalaxy Yeah that's the problem in this shit now, finding "professionals" on culture and history, you get the history nerd half which is basically like "I want to understand what it's actually like back then simply for the pursuit of knowledge" which is like, you know, what a normal historian should be. Then you get the stupid fucked up retard half which is "we need to look at these events in a MODERN CRITICALLY INTERPRETATIVE LENS" which is code for "I want to project my activism and perversions onto the hundreds and thousands of years of accumulated history." Unfortunately these faggots are louder than most so they get the job, then they can frame every historical event as being focused on sex or socialism
@LukeAlmighty these bitches are always so close to forming a coherent empathetic thought but then suddenly revert to their primordial brain when met with the slightest bit of conflict
@cell Old pronunciation which faded that the romanization kept. Can still sort of hear it if it's after a nasal ん
@beardalaxy Geez, you sure are taking it well for it being such a dangerous situation... ;_; But it is good that you are still in one piece!
@beardalaxy you posted this when I went to bed
Get done final exam in one class I was super worried about and think, wow, that wasn't so bad, I think I'll get a pretty good grade!
Next class, feeling confident, I volunteer to do presentation that I wasn't even done with, unprepared and on the spot, and begin stammering and freezing in front of everyone, forget how to read my notes somehow, stand in silence in front of a blank projector for actual minutes. The day would have been amazing if I didn't do that

Carbs are the first thing the body uses for energy, so lowering the carbs you eat will force the body to use fat. This is the basis for a keto diet.
@Mr_NutterButter I think one big part of keeping the workout routine is finding a way to do it that avoids a bunch of barriers... I have access to a gym for free and it is right next door so I have been going for the past 9 months regularly. But I would never have done it if I had to pay for a gym membership + drive (therefore paying for gas) there. So maybe buy some equipment like a barbell and rack or a stationary bike for home use. Even though it is money up front, it is a one time investment so when you have it you will always have it.
Then, after that, you have to actually like it... If you don't then it's clearly not gonna work... same thing for anything else. If you buy a guitar but realize you hate guitar, you ain't gonna continue playing it. Seeing the improvement and being in the "zone" where nothing else mattered really helped me going back to the gym.
But I dunno, running around in the forest like a madman for an hour actually sounds like a pretty good workout!
I'm at a point where I just don't think I am skilled enough at my classes to pass on getting the work done alone. I really feel so retarded. Like literal skill issue at shit other people can do just fine. I'm so scared, there's two weeks left until graduation and I still have no semblance of whether or not I'll pass my last classes. It's been so long so if I fuck up now I don't know how I'll recover.
Fuck. Fuck. I just gotta get through May.
