@MelGibsonafter4Beers ours was up in the corner but i don't remember this day too well
@MelGibsonafter4Beers lol I've never seen this one, seems like there is always more wkuk
@rheophore I remember on the forum I frequented I had like 12 of these in my signature lol
Remember userbars? I remember making some in Macromedia (as it was) Fireworks, back in the day.
@MelGibsonafter4Beers I think it's funny that this news came out only a few days after I was telling all my friends I didn't want to play high on life because I hate justin roiland xD
@Mr_NutterButter might be worth looking at some video game analyses, they talk about the stories in great lengths and what works well and what doesn't.
@matrix everyone should just go to jail and play with the mage
I never played Earthbound growing up, and I never have played more than the first few hours of it. Every time I listen to the music, though, I feel deeply nostalgic. The music in the game has a way of evoking childhood wonder, peace, and goofiness. One of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time.
Maybe I should do a Top 100 Game Soundtracks list. It would likely be quite different from my Top 100 Games list. There are plenty of games that I either don't like a whole lot or that I've legitimately never played, but the music I have put on repeat.
@keisuke what happens when you put soap up your ass, definitely on accident
@keisuke for the shower, liquid for the sink.
@gruyere I say bring it on, I love the rain.
I'm playing The Division 2 again because the expansion I never bought/played went on sale for 9 bucks. I love the attention to detail on the guns. The team that works on them really knows their guns and cared about getting the details right.
For instance, the M16A1 fires 3 round bursts. Typically you load a 30 round magazine. If you reload without emptying the gun, you have 31 rounds (30 + 1 in the chamber). Since you fire in 3 round bursts though, your 11th pull of the trigger is one round. The game perfectly captured the sound of an AR hammer hitting on an empty chamber and they used that for that situation. They could have used some stupid thud noise and most people wouldn't even notice. Hell, they could have just left it out.
Anyhow, lots of the gun stuff is like that, and I really like that part of it. It's one of the charms that keeps it from just being Ubisoft Third Person Looter Shooter #22.
@matrix there could be other ways, but that's all i know about without looking at the wiki and spoiling something
@YeetLibs I still don't see a problem with piracy because the people who pirate likely wouldn't have purchased the thing anyway.
