Possibly my least favorite thing about leftists is their absolute lack of integrity. They are willing to prop up and support HORRIBLE people as long as they are contributing to their cause. Perhaps this is because they themselves are horrible people.

What's even worse about this price point is that one D&D book costs $30, and you get to keep it. That's for a physical book. A digital PDF only costs $20, and on D&D Beyond you can even buy separate items from the books to use digitally if that's all you care about. Instead, they are switching to this subscription-based model where if you haven't ALSO purchased the book, in addition to paying $30/month, tough shit.

On top of that, restricting homebrew use, even private creations, to only people who pay $30/month is completely ridiculous. I will literally not be able to afford to use this service when it gets released and if I still have a campaign going, I'm going to have to port it all over to pen and paper and just pirate the books that have the digital content I use, as well as printing off the slew of homebrew items I have created. Super shitty stuff.

This is pretty bad. $30/month to play D&D with a virtual character sheet is just not worth it.

The people who originally created D&D Beyond have been working on a similar thing for Pathfinder. Strikingly similar. VERY cool.

as a musician, i'm not too worried about AI replacing me or anything. musicians already make the majority of their money playing live shows and through merchandise, so an AI impersonating me or playing better music than me or whatever doesn't bother me. i would have already been replaced by a radio station if people didn't want to listen to a human, in the flesh, play music for them.

I could only stand the first two or three seasons of Rick and Morty, after that it got really fucking old but all of my normie friends continued to watch it for some reason. Then all the other stuff like Solar Opposites and the weird fucking gun game came out and they're all just the same exact shit. Justin Roiland is a fucking nematode.

@hellhammer666 i'm so fucking tired of how much the internet has to be policed "for the children" when it has all arguably just caused things to be worse. more children on the internet = more children being preyed upon by faggots on the internet. doesn't matter if it's made more "child friendly." especially because the parents of these kids think it's SUPPOSED to be safe for their kids so they don't give a shit about watching their internet activity.
