Zelda definitely could have some localization issues. Botw did too actually, in the Japanese version link actually is the one writing the journal entries and gives his thoughts on stuff. That's completely scrapped from pretty much every other translation. There has always been retarded stuff like that, weird censorship and changes, since the beginning of gaming. So it could have some issues.

Nintendo also has some really poor business practices in regards to their customers. Luckily, it's easy to hack a switch and the game will probably be emulated near perfectly, worst case, so you don't necessarily have to buy it to enjoy it.
