@Ace66062 @rasterman i didn't mind xen much lol but it was the worst part of the game. worst part of half life is still really fuckin good though.

@Ace66062 @rasterman i liked the atmosphere of half life 1 way more, the action gameplay of 2 got in the way of my enjoyment of it a lot and there were some parts that really didn't age well in terms of the FPS genre. i think half life 1 aged better in terms of being endearing.

@heavens_feel my group will probably switch to pathfinder because there is a lot of stuff available all for free, and the pathbuilder character sheet maker is really good.

i'm also kind of making my own. idk if i'll finish it but it's called "magic, melee & mischief" and is very simple in its mechanics.

i was looking into shadow of the demon lord too, that seems pretty cool.

@Ace66062 @rasterman i couldn't grasp the original system shock's controls. i loved half life 1 but not half life 2. pretty hit or miss for me when it comes to old games. i'm still gonna' give it a shot though xD

Not including solo artists, but including duos. Not a definitive list as most of these have the chance of shooting up to #1 for a week while I binge all of their music. This is generally where all of them lie, though!

@rasterman @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @admin @KoopaTV kingdom hearts in general though probably isn't worth getting into, and i say that as a pretty big KH fan. i wouldn't recommend it much to someone who has never played any of the games, or never had interest in them. the story gets way too fucking convoluted and is still going after 20+ years without any real conclusion. even my friends who like kingdom hearts more than me either didn't play kingdom hearts 3 (like me) or liked it at first, but not on subsequent playthroughs.

way too much time to dump into something that doesn't have a good payoff.

@rasterman @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @admin @KoopaTV movement is important. some attacks are AOE and some are lines, there are summon and stuff too. the movement does actually matter as much as it can matter on a GBA.

think of it like an action RPG but instead of traditional skills and attacks, you have cards that decide what you do.

@admin @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @rasterman @KoopaTV it was much better on GBA than it was on PS2 just for the fact that it was a really fun game for the GBA, but stacked against KH1 and KH2 on the same platform it was not nearly as fun.

i played the whole thing on my GBA then when i got it on PS2 it was just not fun.
