@icedquinn @emilis I really wish someone else would snag that idea of HRV though, the wall hack mechanic. Made the game so good. No minimap but you can see through walls. Lead to a lot less camping and some highly tactical play. I played it so much that I completely forget minimaps exist in other shooters and don't rely on audio cues whatsoever xD

@icedquinn @emilis there are no servers up. There is 1 guy that pushes updates to the ps4 version to rotate a couple items around so it looks like it's still active and you can still purchase everything on that version. The game would still work 100% without that though, as long as PSN is up.

All the rights were given back to the devs but they stopped hosting servers because not enough people were playing. Seriously all they had to do was port over the ps4 p2p and they could have let it run by itself through Steam.

They said they were going to focus on new projects and have done quite a lot of work since then on random stuff like call of duty and the ps4/xb1 ports for a hat in time. Just a shame that they have pretty much completely forgotten about the game that is their company's namesake. Hardsuit Labs.

At the very least, they haven't issued a takedown or anything to the guys trying to reverse engineer the servers. They don't let anyone talk about that on the subreddit though, perhaps because they were using corpo shit stuff for it.

Pool all the data of all drugs and their known treatments, side effects, controversies, etc. together and make an AI that doctors can plug in patient symptoms/conditions to in order to see what would be best for them.

Watch how fast it gets censored.

Nothing stops devs from just adding a LAN mode to their game in the first place though, that way people could at least play over vlan and stuff still. But muh piracy.

@riserise @CentaurBreeder My roommate's problem is that he's an absolute sound whore in games and he's a little deaf so his headphones are really fucking loud, which leads to him practically yelling when he wants to talk to people because he can't hear himself.

@rasterman I know it's not BECAUSE OF HIM either because he wasn't a factor the past few days I've gotten no sleep, but yeah, just makes me annoyed which stacks onto the frustration of not being able to sleep which just makes me less likely to be able to go back to bed >.>

I have cyclothymia (type of bipolar) so it's probably just some hypomania getting the best of me. I don't feel groggy or anything, woke up super refreshed but I just know that I'm going to be powered by caffeine later today and then I'm probably going to crash when I get home which will mean I'll be awake until like noon tomorrow. Just how it goes.

Roommate isn't exactly helping the situation because it makes me mad because I ASKED HIM TO BE QUIET TONIGHT. so that gets my blood boiling. I'd probably sleep through it normally, but that's why I asked him to be quiet in the first place because if I have a rough time sleeping, it's not gonna be any easier to go back to bed with someone yelling in the other room.

I have epilepsy too, which worsens the more exhausted or stressed I am. So on days like these I have to really watch myself. It wouldn't suck as much if I could just ride the mania train all the way to the bank and get shit done but I'd probably be dead if I did that.

@CentaurBreeder most of the time it is not a problem because we both work late, but when I work early shifts that's when it becomes a problem.

@CentaurBreeder yeah that sounds horrible. I'd probably go sleep in the living room. I used to do that when my roommate was in the same room as me and he had his girlfriend over because having 3 people sleeping in an already hot room made it impossible to get any sleep.

I don't want to go up to the couch because I pay for my own damn room lol. Might have to at some point though if this shit continues because it's not like I can move or kick the dude out.

Now I'm getting hungry. Won't be able to go back to bed unless I eat something.

Today is going to be brutal. Got 4 hours of sleep, woke up at 2:30AM. It's 4:00 right now. Need to leave for work at 7. Don't get back home until 7pm.

My bed is going to become a good friend to me later but it sure as shit isn't right now.
