@matrix perfect way for OP to sneak in there and comfort her, missed opportunity

@zommie you could look into setting up your own peertube instance, but that would require maintaining/paying for a server. There aren't really many people watching things on there either AFAIK.

For gaming content I still think YouTube is unfortunately the best choice.

so there was a commish/request of Lena Luthor heavily based on her DC Super Hero Girls S2 appearance (it's for a fanfiction which is yet unpublished)

I drew initial version and absolutely hated it; which made me re-do entire pic from scratch
and I like this result way more, even though this Lena lost her cartoon palette :sadness:

her naked freckled cunny (lots of body freckles!) and both versions in high res are on fanbox: matana.fanbox.cc

@rasterman the public transport here is actually really good, so taxis aren't really needed. People only take Uber if they need to go some place specific or don't want to ride with other people (or they're intoxicated). Since I can't drive, I grab Uber to get to work because it's (normally) a lot faster than public transport and I don't have to walk at all to and from stations. It's 4x the price to ride Uber but I like taking 20 minutes to go somewhere instead of an hour, plus however long it takes me to walk. More time to not sleep lol.

In the city though, the train has stops every half mile or so. It's a really good way to get around down there if you don't mind the occasional hobo. But if you're in the city you gotta expect that anyway lol. It runs from like 6am to 12am too so pretty much covers everything. All those routes connect down to other bus stations and such too but if you get out of the city that's when you gotta pay for it.

So why not just move to the city? Well, that's about the only good thing about living there as opposed to the suburbs xD it's way more expensive and you have to put up with more bullshit.

re: Text dump

@rasterman yup it does, that's why I don't take it xD it took 2-3 years of not being medicated to finally feel like myself again. Another one gave me more seizures, one just did nothing, and another one made me drop to about 100lbs in 2 weeks. Mix of seizures and the meds stunted my growth as well. I still have some clothes from middle school I can and do wear.

So yeah needless to say, not worth it.

I'm here alone today so I'm running the place my way. Not with random borderline pop music but with some nice touhou jazz :meru_goodsh:

@rasterman we don't really have taxis in the city here either though because there is a train you can ride for free.

@rasterman one of the tests they do when you're having lots of seizures is to actually deprive you of sleep/food to see if that triggers anything. Unfortunately both times we had the test done nothing happened so I stayed awake for 24 hours and went like 12 of it without food for nothing.

Text dump

@rasterman yup. In high school I had a lot of seizures because I was under a lot of stress and not getting enough sleep. So I try to keep my life as free from stressors as possible. Thankfully I'm usually pretty good at it, and when I'm not I'm usually in a depressed state so I do get enough sleep.

In high school I'd sometimes only get 2 hours of sleep right before school, but never wanted to bring it up to my parents because I was supposed to be in bed so I'd just pretend I was sleeping. Then I'd go to school and be faced with all the stress that comes with that, then I'm having seizures which is stacking on more work for me to do and I'm failing classes, and I was having a spiritual crisis the whole time. So yeah high school was tough.

People ask why I can't do stuff anymore since I haven't had a seizure for over 8 years but it's because I don't do stuff that I haven't had a seizure. Still come close plenty of times though, even with something as simple as a 10 minute jog.

I play a pretty wild balancing act all the time that's only possible because of years of bullshit that taught me what to do and what not to do. There are times even now where I'll recognize I'm having more absence seizures than usual and just warn everyone about it just in case.

@rasterman not really, you can suppress them though. Only problem is that the medication sucks ass (at least for me) and the other method of doing it electromagnetically doesn't work for me because they don't know where my seizures come from.

I've had 2 Uber drivers cancel midway to picking me up and nobody else wants to. I'm gonna be fucking late today dammit.

@rasterman the cool thing about having seizures is that I can't work out enough for it to do too much. I have to REALLY space it out. Often times I'll go a little too hard and have to sit down for a few hours unless I wanna die. It's pretty fun :)

I basically work out the point of remaining physically healthy and that's about all I can manage :P

I'm not trying to make excuses for myself or anything, that's just the nature of it. Part of why I go too hard sometimes is because I hate making excuses >.>

>lightning strikes a statue with lightning rods on it
>christians claiming it's God.
*Sigh*

@picandor this is a little freaky because I just made a joke about "giant lightning christ" yesterday without knowing this happened
