i actually prefer the lighting in the original too, it's more stark. less 'realistic" but idgaf it just looks cooler.

i don't know how anyone can look at the new models for the last of us and say that they actually look better. technically they have more polygons and higher res textures and there's better lighting in the game and whatever the fuck, but god the art style is just degraded entirely. sarah in particular looks like a fucked crossbreed between greta thunberg and a pancake.
