@1nter4ri @Terry @ImperialAgent @BigDuck @Northman @TalmudTranslator @VidMasterEon mormon people are generally outwardly nice. a lot of it they really only do to keep up appearances. i'm not saying that every mormon person is totally fake or whatever but it's a pretty prevalent thing.

@Eiswald @Terry @ImperialAgent @BigDuck @TalmudTranslator @VidMasterEon people like this should leave now and stop holding onto it or waiting for X to happen before they leave officially. getting out of there feels like such a huge burden on your spirit being lifted.

@1nter4ri @Terry @ImperialAgent @BigDuck @TalmudTranslator @VidMasterEon most people who are in the church are either people who
1) were raised in it from birth and don't know anything else and the social dogma of leaving would be so much that they don't even consider it
2) are from third world countries and are either actually stupid or are just poor and want someone to take care of them

when i was training for a mission, they beat it into us practically that we had to ask someone if they wanted to get baptized after the very first lesson. they're pretty desperate for members as they're practically bleeding them at this point except for the babies born straight into it and the gullible people from the third world.

@Varus @Terry @ImperialAgent @1nter4ri @BigDuck @VidMasterEon everyone shames you for not wearing them, and a lot of the mormon religion (or a lot of religion in general) revolves around shame and fear.

@TalmudTranslator @Terry @ImperialAgent @BigDuck @VidMasterEon they only want the govt to fuck off so that they can *become* the govt. utah is pretty much run by mormons, they even have tunnels that go everywhere downtown and a big vault in the mountains to protect their secrets. that's not even a conspiracy, either.

@1nter4ri @Terry @ImperialAgent @BigDuck @VidMasterEon coming from someone who used to be mormon, yeah they believe in underpants that you are basically required to wear, they have symbols on them that mean different holy things and they believe that as long as you wear them you'll be protected from evil. there is plenty of mormon folklore of people's garments saving them from house fires, drowning, and such.

@RehnSturm256 @MercurialBlack i liked the first one a lot, didn't like the second one at all. it's way less linear and just feels less inspired. there was one part that was so fucking cryptic i don't know how i would have ever got it if i didn't look it up.

zelda tears of the kingdom cartridge

@xianc78 >thinks nintendo spent 6 years developing DLC to one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time (30m copies sold)

do you think majora's mask is also just an over-glorified DLC? that one had about 5 years less in the oven and reuses textures, character models, etc. but has its own brand new story, brand new places to explore, and new gameplay mechanics.

totk is exactly the same. originally intended to be DLC, changed to being its own game very early on.

re: nyanners leaves vshojo

@TopBep it makes sense that they let her keep her model and everything considering she had it before joining. i'm not really a fan of nyanners but it'll be interesting to see what happens now.

zelda tears of the kingdom cartridge

someone has sold 4 copies of tears of the kingdom on a website called mercari for $300 each. he has a 5* rating with over 300 reviews since 2020. mostly sells shoes.

this cartridge isn't like one we have seen yet, the others being definite fakes.

@VidMasterEon @Terry idk about any other Christian sects but in mormonism they actually straight up teach that it WAS the romans, not the jews, and if you say anything bad about the jews you'll often hear "but Jesus was a jew."
