Every time I talk about fedi to someone I have to clarify that it really is the wild west of the internet. A lot of people really want the ability to use their free speech on the net, but don't want to increase their risk of randomly seeing vile shit. Even if you can block stuff you don't like, it's not like you can unsee CP you stumble upon when you're on the federated timeline.

@rasterman @ChristiJunior @King_Noticer pyra is best in mid level competition, but there are some top players that are really good with her as well such as mk leo. She's a power house. Just not as good as some others.

Joker is basically the same, including the mk leo bit. Top players have developed great counterplay against him.

Steve is literally banned because of an exploit where he gains invulnerability and if you hit him he becomes immediately actionable, and it's really hard to tell if that's actually what happened. He's a menace. Even before he was banned, people were screaming to ban him because he is indisputably the best character in the game. You have mid level players using "ban Steve" as their tag winning majors or getting top 8s, that's a problem xD

@veru ngs had it pretty bad in the beginning because of an exploit where you could get a shit ton of meseta by using alt accounts. It wasn't enough to be worth getting banned over, but it was enough for people specifically looking to profit from RMT.

It's a lot better now, especially because the areas are gated by story progress so the bots only lurk in the 1st city. I haven't seen many of them the past few months, I think they're not profiting anymore.

@veru nahhh, I disagree. Even something like Runescape has RMT. WoW has always had RMT. It is an inevitability of a game that has trading and in-game currency.
