@xianc78 i think it's extremely faithful. i'd much rather have something like this than just ripping the models from odyssey or something. in general, the game looks like a super accurate recreation.

it does look a little bit jarring at first, but it's what the original looked like and i think people will get used to it. this happens with a lot of games, two other ones i can remember off the top of my head being wind waker and the link's awakening remake, which people were pretty upset with from an art style perspective originally but then it grew on everyone and now most people really enjoy them.

@xianc78 complaining about nobody noticing you is the first step to ensuring that people will go out of their way to not support what you do.

Created a sprite for the bumper car. Still have the bullets and explosions but I will get to them eventually.

@xianc78 apparently it is one of the best JRPGs of all time, made in square's heyday.

This leaves 25 quests for me to complete! Definitely not going to be easy, but I'm chugging along.

Made a side quest for a jester today that involves warping to another location. You have to meet a level requirement for the quest to even show up, so it'll actually be pretty hidden. I need to add other warps as well, that you can use once the quest is complete. It might seem like this is a weird, random feature that I'm just now deciding to implement, but it has been planned for a long time now.

i'm actually pretty excited for ff16, it's a shame i won't be able to play it for a while.
