@ChristiJunior SHANTAE BROS
@ChristiJunior this one is pretty obvious to me.
shantae vs reimu will be much, much harder.

@chainsaw_appreciator @Leaflord the forbidden reese's cup
@justnormalkorean the juxtaposition of the DeSantis flag and the nazi one shows me that this is either a gay op or they're fucking retarded.
@seriesoftubes i understand this. it's like playing a character in d&d for a campaign that lasts years. they become a part of you.
for me, a lot of characters in the game i'm making, and to some extent even the game itself, are like this. i've spent so long with them, and it'll be really strange when i finally complete the game and i'm not working on them anymore.
i think two other voice actors this probably resonates with are:
1) david hayter: voice of snake
2) guy cihi: voice of james sunderland
guy actually has done stuff like this on his youtube channel. he owns a replica of james' jacket and the role seems to have impacted him a lot. i can imagine, silent hill 2 seemed to impact everyone who was involved. mary's letter at the end has the voice actress crying actual tears.
i'll probably never play runescape again, i can't stand the progression. i'll always have fond memories of it from playing it as a kid with my friends (and grandpa lol) though.
the game is from a bygone era where devs had such an incredible outpouring of love for their games and the people who played them. you can feel that passion when you play it for sure. the game has soul. i don't think i'll be able to say that about a whole lot of games coming out these days when i look back 15 years from now.
the music especially is something that will never get old to me. here's an classical acoustic guitar cover of autumn voyage, my favorite track in the game, done by josh forbes:
@LittleTom gollum dev too lol
@roboneko @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @sjw if depends on the board. Some may be soldered on. The ones that can be swapped, there are two main kinds that have different amounts of pins. I think it's like 3 and 7. However, 3 pin switches will still work in a 7 pin board. 7 pin switches will work in a 3 pin board, you'll just have to cut the remaining pins off.
Just look up your model and see if you can remove the switches without needing to desolder anything, and check to see what switches it is compatible with.
My last board had soldered on switches, so when they began to die there was nothing I could do about it. I bought a new one from Glorious Gaming that has hotswappable switches to future proof myself. It was the best bang for the buck I could find (without resorting to a redragon keyboard ew). Only issue would be if the board itself got damaged somehow, like from a bad spill or being dropped.
@mushroom_soup getting drunk and doing blow, classy
@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @sjw get a mechanical one where you can swap out the switches. That way, when your keys break you can easily swap em out. Heck, you can even pull a switch from a key you never use like Ins or something.
@ChristiJunior shantae is doomed to live in the shadows forever
