@HebeHimmler@moar.cachapa.xyz maybe if i see more normal behavior from you i'll warm up but yes, typically someone registering only a week ago and then asking for pedo follows isn't good news. either it's a fed, or it's someone who is annoying as shit. the instance i'm on had a massive wave of them a while back and it caused us to have to close registrations. we still can't open them because they all come back.

and asking for follows is just lame in general. if you follow people they'll see you followed them and if they like what you post then they'll follow you back. if you interact with people and they like those interactions then they'll follow you back.

@lunarised i do have a quest that takes you to one of the rooms, but it is one of the harder to find quests since it relies on having a certain party member and having a certain amount of progression in the main story with that party member.

i might add another quest at some point that takes place in a tavern, but if i do it'll be either after the game has been released as an update/DLC of some sort, or only if i have time to make it before the end of the year, which is when i want all my quests to be done. i do really like the idea of the quest so i want it in eventually, but it might get skipped over for now and maybe be included in the next game, worst case.

@lunarised yeah every inn has the exact same layout. the only thing different between them is the NPCs inside.

@lunarised hmm, that would be an interesting way to do it. definitely the hardest way to program it, and i think the other downside would come from players who are now disappointed they don't get to walk to the room every time OR players who are annoyed that they have to walk there at all. i get what you're saying, but i think in this case it might be an "annoy everyone" approach rather than an "annoy some people" one.

then again, i could always develop it that way and see what testers think, and which one they prefer! i'll keep that in mind, thank you.
