So I just got back from the Gran Turismo movie. It was actually shockingly good. The whole Hollywood forced mixed race thing doesn't actually apply here because the guy the movie is based on is actually mixed race, so that's refreshing. It made me want to try out Gran Turismo again because I haven't picked it up in years.

It followed the true story of Jann Mardenborough very closely actually, which is a story I didn't even know existed. Like, they actually took GT players and let them race real cars. Pretty wild! He was a consultant for the film and actually was the stunt racer/double for the actor portraying him.

The main actor, Archie Madekwe, was great in it as well. He really sold the part to the point where I had to take a step back and realize he was just an actor about halfway through the film lol.

Gran Turismo time? Might give it a shot. If it doesn't work out there are always a bunch of other NFS games out there I can play xD I feel like if I didn't have epilepsy, I might actually be pretty big on cars. I collected Hot Wheels as a kid and would actually grease up their wheels and do custom paint jobs on some of them. I'd take them out to the driveway and do entire tournaments of like 80+ cars to see which ones would reach the bottom first. Good times.

Anyway, good movie! I'd recommend it.

I know there are some out there that are like me when it comes to Christianity, where they hate the organization and authority of the religion but maintain their spirituality.

@Koropokkur @Terry @Xenophon as far as I'm aware, Muslims mostly believe that Jesus was still a prophet of God, and was even born from Mary by the way of a miracle from God. Interestingly, they don't think Christ was crucified, but that God put His likeness onto another man who was then crucified, and God translated Jesus into Heaven.

They certainly don't hate Christ. The difference is that they seem to follow Mohammad's words more closely, since he came later and they have that whole thing where later teachings override earlier teachings.

@MoralPanic I told my roommate about the shit going down in Israel and his immediate reaction was "well I guess Ukraine is fucked" he isn't even clued in on any of the Jewish stuff, he just knows that the US cares more about Israel than Ukraine.

Realistically, how hard is it for an ISP to keep their services running 24/7? We've had like 5 internet outages in the past month. It's really annoying but usually gets fixed pretty quick.
