Love that Winter time cloudy gray lighting, but it's not on the level of a rainy day in the summer, the snow makes it much brighter

@TylerAbeoJordan Im going to vent, but at this point i really need to. Blame always trickles down to the followers "you need to recycle" "you need to use paper straws and straws" "your car needs to meet emission standards". Never will they admit their wrong it's the people that need to change.
And their right we do need to change, we need to stop being bound by them. The people that died when they could have just had a blood transfusion, or those are shunned from their family be their doctrine doesn't perfectly match whatever the "governing body" decides.
I always had issues. especially with blood and how "disfellowshipping" was used. The idea is that it's meant to "protect" the congregation, but in most cases, it was just someone having extramarital sex. I understand not having them be an "elder" or any position over the congregation, but completely shunning them the congregation only serves to make that person's entire social life dependent on the church. This when to the extent that a friend in my congregation seriously asked me about whether he should get rid of "Sonic Classic Collection" on DS, because he learned that Michael Jackson might have helped compose some of the soundtrack in Sonic 3 & K.
I was only able to talk normally with my father due to "familial necessities". After i turned 18 was only allowed to speak if him unless it fell under what was deemed "necessary contact" like health or legal matters. All the years i talked with my father as a child, nothing he said was "apostate" or dangerous to congregation. He encouraged to continue in the "truth", and even traveled to see my first Bible reading, while stuck sitting in the back room.
I still was afraid of "apostates", but early on it was clear to the was a distinction between those were "disfellowshipped" and “apostates". There was no reason i could understand for shunning my father from the rest of his family and congregation, except for "discipline". As if just removing his position in the congregation wasn't enough "discipline" already.
Not that disfellowshipping really works, as I’ve people go through the work to be "reinstated" and proceed to never even pray or read the Bible. I had someone essentially admit they only got reinstated to talk with their family and would leave if weren't shunned for doing so.

@TylerAbeoJordan They don't what you to serve Jehovah, they want you to serve the "Organization" or they will shun you from friends and family. You aren't baptized in Christ or even in Jehovah, your "baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses". Any of the actual meaning of the term is functionally void, you are expected to be Witnesses to Organization, God’s name is just dragged down with them. Beforehand the rendering “Jehovah” was a non-denominational name, even the watchtower has written entire articles about how Benjamin Franklin and Abe Lincoln used the rendering “Jehovah” in their writings.
Yet now it seems that most Christians stop using the term because they want to avoid being associated with JWs. This title never existed because the organization felt the name was important, Joseph Rutherford just wanted to bring attention away from other Bible Student Groups. Any time the publications refers to the Bible students before this point, they always retroactively refer to as “Jehovah’s Witness” and add a small footnote somewhere saying, “or bible students at the time”. This same thing you see in transgender ideology, everything beforehand was actively something that didn’t exist to much later. Joan of Arc was a “trans male”, and Charles Taze Russell was a “Witness”.
Except that Russell never believed it the idea of sects or religion, he thought true Christians weren’t defined by the church they belonged to, and he never saw Bible Students as belonging a single church. I wasn’t uncommon among Bible Students to belong to different churches or belong to no church. Russell should not be treated as an absolute authority when it to doctrines, he believed pyramids were monuments to Bible scriptures and the date “1914” relies entirely on the idea that Jerusalem fell to Babylon on “607 B.C.E” when all geological proof dates it 10 later from then. I still don’t agree with doctrine of hellfire or that the trinity model is directly stated in scripture, I think Russell is important for challenging these doctrines, but at the end of the day he just was another a flawed man trying to earnestly understand the Bible.
The only way to reach the Father is though the Christ, not "the pope” “governing body” or any church. I end this with the parable of the weed and weeds, Christ that said his followers would be like wheat, but at night a someone would come and plant weeds among the field. Weeds are invasive and sap the energy of the plants around it. I earnestly believe there are wheatlike Christians in every Church, but their energy is being siphoned away from the Christ and to the Church.

i just now realized there's a vehicle in ballisticNG that has insane acceleration, handling, and top speed, but 0 shield. so you'll die in like 3 hits if you hit walls.
for me, that means pure races (ones without weapons) are basically a walk in the park now lol. just learn the track and you're gucci.
part of why i fucking love f-zero so much is because there AREN'T any weapons or power ups. it's all just extremely fast racing and reaction time with failure coming very swiftly if you suck and controlling your ship. no chance with weapons butt fucking you from behind to worry about. don't get me wrong though items and stuff is still fun, it can just get annoying at times.
Do you think there is any way Steam could have tradable games? Perhaps there could be some limits in place that might incentivize people to buy "new" copies. Like achievements and trading cards being disabled, or even not being able to go online in the game. DLC not being saleable. Just throwing out ideas here.
If the future is to have no physical games, then the secondhand market won't exist anymore. It would be cool to get some sort of semblance of that in digital form. Publishers and Steam could even get a little kickback on the secondhand sales which doesn't have with physical media.

you're not exactly wrong, though. it's extremely odd how popular that game was despite its difficulty and overall tone. i wonder how many of the twitch thot chicks playing it actually finished it.
i've never played MGQ. roblox seems fine, but from an outsider perspective it seems driven almost solely by the community with the dev team sort of being scummy. i'm surprised you aren't turned off by THAT community either, considering it's mainly got a shit ton of young, annoying, autistic children playing it.
i never played geometry dash either but it seems fun enough. iirc it has newgrounds integration so that's pretty cool.
other than the two games i mentioned first, some other games i would call objectively great (instead of just being ones i personally enjoy) would be:
-mario kart 8 dx (especially with the crazy amount of DLC they've put out for a really low price)
-the witcher 3
-ratchet and clank rift apart
-rocket league (pre-epic acquisition)
-smash ultimate
