@Mr_NutterButter I was thinking of making an animation for it, just a simple one, but decided against it for the moment. I think I'll just make it fade in and out. And yeah whatever color it was before was perfect.

Oh shit alone in the dark reboot/remake comes out in 4 days. Gonna be interesting to see how that one goes.

>As part of the next aid package, there is a rather interesting wording regarding “gender-inclusive demining.”
>This means “giving women and other female persons a special right of advantage in mine clearance and sending them among the first to particularly dangerous territories.”

@histoire when it is overblown it bothers me, unless it is for a specific effect like drunkenness or something. your eyes do have depth of field though, that one isn't *just* about cinematics like lens flare is. not as heavy as it is in games, but you're also sitting in front of a screen with a much smaller FOV than your real life eyes. so DOF can make sense to compensate for that in some areas or even to be used to subtly guide the player to the main subject. i've noticed though that DOF often gets used more in cutscenes so i typically don't have an issue with it.

i can understand lens flare more in a third person game but i still think it is super distracting. it makes 0 sense in first person because we're meant to be looking through someone's eyes... if you have lens flare in your real eyes you should probably get that checked.
