@Pawlicker @Mr_NutterButter i'm not autistic myself (well, maybe borderline) but i have heard a lot of people say that two of the characters from "to the moon" who are on the spectrum are very good representations. it's pretty present in the story too.
@Pawlicker that makes me think of this crazy shit lol

@Pawlicker like transformers and shit? or more like lightning mcqueen? xD
@Mr_NutterButter you don't even have to come out and be like "he's autistic!!" he can just exhibit that kind of personality, or some of those traits.
@Mr_NutterButter make him autistic. not even joking or trying to make it a meme or something, just imagining an autistic dude whose special interest is knight shit could be interesting. there aren't really many autistic people in media in general and when there are, it's usually kinda poorly done or played for laughs imo. like a lot of people point to drax as being "autistic" or having "autistic traits" but really he's a stupid alien man who is there for comic relief and to be a big fighting dude.
the reluctance could come from maybe not liking the way it feels to slice through someone and that's actually the only reason he doesn't like killing, the sensory aspect of it, being detached from the actual act. maybe he complains about the amount of walking he has to do, or hates being on water, you know, stuff like that. but he's willing to do all of it because he thinks being a knight and helping people is really fucking cool, and he obsesses over his weapons being sharp and trains constantly. like he's not even a morally good character necessarily, or doesn't have some motivation of being your typical hero, but he just thinks it's cool and badass and he wants to be cool and badass.
i don't know, maybe that's a horrible suggestion but if you want to subvert expectations, i don't think something like that has ever been done that i can think of. i'd say just make sure it doesn't become a caricature of an autistic person or become particularly demeaning.
when did physical d&d books start selling for $50 instead of $30? am i crazy, were they always this expensive? pathfinder's are still $30 unless you want fancier books.
no wonder so many people pirate this shit. something has to break at some point man. this is another one of those scenarios where different payment models would drastically help stop piracy. like, idk... a la carte purchasing...???? dumbasses.
i'm sorry but $50 is just not worth it for a piece of a game, especially when 90% of it is fluff i'm not going to ever look at or use. totally insane. maybe it's worth it for people that are playing WAY more d&d, but i feel like the average player is only doing it once a week at most, maybe even leaning towards semimonthly. d&d and other ttrpg's in general are a really expensive hobby, sometimes prohibitively expensive, and that was being remedied with digital-era stuff but not nearly as much anymore i guess.
makes me want to keep working on my ttrpg system tbh. don't really have time for that though unfortunately.
@LukeAlmighty i commented this on someone else's post but i put a hard line before asuka and a soft line before megumin. idk who a few of these characters are but that's generally what i'd say.
@LukeAlmighty something is hard ![]()
Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel! And there it is, friends! The ugly truth!
We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit! The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth! Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? What then? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives?
And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people! So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine! For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever!
@Mr_NutterButter damn that's actually insane, seeing concept art that's quite possibly just photoshopped images from a google search of "japanese x"
this is the worst assassin's creed and it hasn't even come out yet
@inTrax Hololive? In your vinesauce thumbnail? More likely than you think.
@Goalkeeper exactly like halo lmao but who thought this shit was going to be good to begin with?
