@susie it's super weird, like I pop out as a randomly generated character every time. Only with this dream though, I don't think I've ever experienced it elsewhere. My dreams are also usually third person but this one is first person.

I keep having this recurring dream that a close family friend gifts me his son's entire DS collection after his death. The odd part about it is that I always start as a different person and that determines how the rest of the story pieces play out. For instance, the games are always hidden in the same place which is behind a fake wall underground. When I go to get them, there are always some people who are armed that want to take the games from me and I have to figure out how to get out of that situation. This most recent one I "spawned in" so-to-speak as a girl and I told the family friend's daughter I was going to pick up the games so she tagged along. The armed people actually started shooting at us so I gave them the games but when they opened the box they saw drawings of the daughter in there and I said it was supposed to be a birthday present for her, so they left us alone. That's as far as the dreams ever go, I always wake up right after. Really strange.
