@anemone TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT THAT WE RUN
THE HUNTER BECOMES WHAT IT HUNTS

@NotAWeeb 1. Absolutely 0 marketing
2. Reconstructed in a different (worse) engine instead of just porting it
3. Changing the identity of the game
4. Major technical issues and glitches
5. Still costs $60

This thing was a bad idea from day 1. Who the hell greenlit this? I'd maybe think about picking it up for like $30 if it was just a straight port. They changed the lighting, removed the fixed camera, changed character motivations, and botched the launch of the game with some serious issues surrounding performance and soft locks. The only way to play the original experience on PC will be via emulation.

@doctorsex @ColPeatGuano @KonataWagner @LostShakerOfSalt @DEERBLOOD @judgedread @SaltWraith they might just not be engaged enough. We'd play flash games before they got banned on school computers when I was a kid. When we got Chromebooks in high school I would look up funny gifs and show them to my friends across the room. A little bit before my time you had students getting games on their calculators to play during class. You have to make kids WANT to learn.

@LukeAlmighty I use it to follow artists that don't use fedi or Newgrounds (more artists should use Newgrounds). I also follow MVG lol.

Today I learned that DivX was originally called DivX;-) to poke fun at the DIVX discs that would kill themselves after you watched them.

@LukeAlmighty fuck no
