@arc for me, muting is meant to prevent you from seeing other people's posts. blocking is to make it so that accounts can't interact with yours. it isn't just about not being able to see your account... if you wanted that you would just lock your account (although twitter does need more robust functionality when it comes to private posting). if i block someone, i don't want them to even be able to reply to my posts for other people to see.

will there ever be a porn actress as cute as dolly little...? i doubt.
she's my biggest inspiration when it comes to drawing cute girls

Evil Boomer be like:

I will give my money to my children, Israel can get on its bootstraps

@PurpCat @j I guess posting followers only kind of helps with that. Twitter has a really shitty version of that though too. Your account is either completely private or completely public and you can't change it per-post.

@xianc78 @PurpCat @j yeah he's not, I do like soapbox though, it's very mastodon-esque. I did play around with misskey for a bit too and that one isn't bad either. Pleroma fe is just too noisy imo. Very functional, but noisy. Which I guess has its fans but I'm not one of them lol.

@j @PurpCat so are there mute and block buttons on pleroma or is it just blocking?

@xianc78 @PurpCat @j I honestly really like the frontend at the very least. I wish we had some QOL features that pleroma does like emote reacts and media posts being able to contain more than 4 photos or 1 video, but I can't stand the pleroma fe tbh.

@PurpCat @j that's kind of ridiculous tbh. If I block someone, it's because I don't want them to be able to interact with me at all. Granted, I rarely do that, but it's lame to not be able to have that functionality imo.

@PurpCat @j are you telling me that if you block someone on pleroma they can still see your posts and your profile....?
