@beardalaxy It's exceedingly normal to feel that way. At night time, people tend to be on edge. For me, it was particularly bad when I first moved out alone.

That's why I have a boom stick next to my bed while sleeping. Interdimensional terrors, late night visit by Nintendo lawyers... The 12 gauge can handle them. Makes me feel safe, at the cost of permanent hearing damage afterward.

@teto :peepoShrug: just really not my thing at all. i've done plenty of stupid stuff with my friends but going to the city and getting slammed is just not on the agenda ever lol.

@teto fuck no lol. i've never even been drunk because i fall asleep before i get to that point xD i'm not really a partier, my ideal party is mtn dew, pizza, and vidya lol.

i love horror media and i think jumpscares WHEN DONE RIGHT are fantastic. it's just that i think, as a kid, doing something as innocent as playing where's waldo alone in my friend's basement and seeing a terrifying image with a loud scream pop up did irreparable damage to me xD

@teto i almost wonder if it happens because of seeing screamers as a kid lol. for an extremely long time, i would look in the comments of every single youtube video before watching it to make sure it wasn't a screamer vid. i only grew out of that in my early 20s.

so it's like i'm constantly anticipating a jumpscare if certain elements of the atmosphere line up just right. i'm not really in a horrifying situation but that's how all the screamer videos start off xD

Is it normal to like, feel anxious that something is watching you or following you, or is right around the corner hiding in the dark when you're alone? I brought up that I haven't felt like that lately to my family and they all looked at me like I was speaking ayy lmao language.

I don't get to the point of it being like delusional and it doesn't cripple me or anything, but most of the time if I'm at home and I'm the only one awake and I'm walking around by myself, I get this feeling that there's going to be some fucked up monster slithering around.

@LukeAlmighty especially when you consider it's done entirely by ONE DUDE for a stupid cartoon on adult swim

@LukeAlmighty oh man dethklok blows cannibal corpse out of the water easily lmao

@LukeAlmighty what's so bad about this to make it your LEAST favorite song? xD

for me, this is one of the first that comes to mind: youtube.com/watch?v=vlgiWBCbCJ

horrible tone on every instrument and bad mixing on the vocals. vocals which sound like someone gargling toilet water while it is being flushed. the guitar sounds super lazy.

i'm sure there are others i hate more but this is just the first one i thought of. i just really do not vibe with grindcore at all.

I'm helping my roommate build his first PC. Went on to PC Part Picker, made sure all of the parts matched and everything, and I just told him to buy all of those. Well, he decided he wanted a Ryzen 5 instead of a Ryzen 7 so he went and bought a 5000 series Ryzen 7 instead of a 7000 series Ryzen 7. He thought that the series number was the class number, and vice versa. So, he's gotta' return it and swap 'em out now.

Honestly, that's a very easy mistake to make. They make this shit so fucking confusing for newcomers.

@YeetLibs It says a lot about the state of things and myself that I watched Steven Crowder for the 2020 election and this year I watched Kirsche lmao
