i'm really not a fan of beef hotdogs. i much prefer the chicken or chicken/pork ones. beef dogs just make me kind of nauseous. they're more expensive, too.

@MoeBritannica there are plenty of people in games journalism. They're all independent YouTubers who do a thousand times better than the legacy journos do, even the ones I don't like as much.

There was something cool about opening up a gaming magazine and reading about cool games and looking at the art in there, but that ship has kind of sailed at this point. If legacy games journalists want to remain relevant and keep doing their job, they really should look into starting independent channels instead. You just know none of them will though, because they would be leaving a safe space where they are coddled and don't have to do nearly as much work. They wouldn't last in the ecosystem.

Uhm... How about no?
Killing your enemies is based and always justified. Especially, when they unironically killed someone from your family.

Should have engineered an effective type of physical barrier instead. It’s because these images of children and happy families reminded them of something they think they’ll never have. The sense of loss and loneliness became inescapable.

Very sad.

@Tony @Terry @BowsacNoodle if you're in that kind of situation you kind of just have to accept the fact that you will be sharing everything and that you literally are not your own person

@Terry it's crazy just how many people are celebrating this guy on every side of the spectrum

How about something interesting that is tangentially related to cryptocurrency?

So, the yields on PS5 production aren't perfect. Some of the boards/chips have defects and can't be used for a PS5. So the company that manufactures them takes the semi-working boards and repurposes them as linux-based bitcoin miners.

Someone took out the PS5 board, got it running with full GPU using an older version of Linux kernel (later versions mysteriously gimped them) and got PS3 games running on them, proving that it was certainly possible to make the PS5 be PS3 compatible despite Sony's claims.

finished making the demo for god's disdain. i went with just pruning back the world a lot but giving the player a bunch of places they can go to. there is only one main story quest past the intro, and it's the one that is a little hidden. there are a couple caves and dungeons and a handful of towns to go visit, with all of the NPCs present who would be giving you quests normally.

save files won't transfer over just because there's a big potential for things to break. sorry :P you could manually copy them over if you wanted to, but they won't go automatically.

there's a steam next fest coming up in i think february, so that's when the demo will be launching! just ahead of the game's full release.

if you wanna play the game NOW, you can help by being a tester :) i especially need some linux peeps right now to test some weird bugs i'm having with apparently every other distro except for mint.
