I hate Harry Fucking Potter. Anytime anyone talks about it, I bristle in fury. Anytime I witness anyone buying something from the Harry Fucking Potter universe, I clench my fists.
To you, it might be childhood nostalgia, a bit of fun, good* books; to trans and non-binary people, it's a money-making machine for hate and erasure.

@zero @mischievoustomato i am just using the experimental brave twitch ad blocker and it works pretty well, at least for the ads that show up right when you go into a stream. it does have some issues with buffering during automatic ads that occur in the middle of the stream, but i don't watch any channels that run ads like that other than the zfg 24/7 channel. but i'm only watching that one when i'm going to bed so i don't really care.
@alyx @mischievoustomato @zero it is weird that youtube doesn't do it even though twitch does. even with twitch though there are ways to get around it, though a lot harder and more inconvenient. maybe youtube sees it as a losing battle, or it would require a significant rewrite of their streaming code.

got the riju amiibo pre-ordered!
it's $30 so a little steep for something as small as an amiibo, but it's not like they are ever going to make an actual figure of her. she's one of my favorite characters in zelda period though, so i wanted to get the amiibo.

I've been using Grok for solo D&D lately, and it works pretty well! It has great memory compared to what AI Dungeon was like back in the day. Just wish I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Gonna look into local stuff but I only got 11gb of vram so idk how well that's gonna go.

I have a scuffed ass 2080ti from like 2018 I got for free because one of the fans was broken, fixed it up. I can't believe it still works.
