@PurpCat i think it is partly because of how terminally online the entire world is now. back in the 360 era the dudes who were into the kind of thing that would get your console banned for piracy KNEW THEIR SHIT and they were on these forums specifically for it, you know? but now like, drama tubers like to spin things as much as possible and everyone who would never even be modding a switch in the first place is all upset about it.

@Mr_NutterButter yes, but to be fair i've had plenty of moments like this too. making mistakes is how you learn, and as long as you learn from them that's awesome.

Now that everything is starting to come together a little bit more, I also have to say that I really like having the two tile high walls. They weren't looking too good in the beginning but seeing it like this is awesome.

Starting to actually fill the rooms with stuff. RPG In A Box has a Steam Workshop where you can download assets! This little experiment is just going to be a free thing, so I'm not too worried about just downloading and using whatever. I'll probably have to develop my own models eventually but I'm terrible at it so I'm trying to avoid it for as long as possible lol.
I also experimented a little bit with the item pickups, which seems actually extremely easy!

@Aldo2 It's not just about the image itself. A wholly innocent photo of an underage girl is fine, but the context added is what will push it over the line.

I believe that adding a MAP flag and calling a girl a "MAP icon" changes the context to be inherently sexual (since being a MAP means you are sexually attracted to minors) and it also is devoid of any serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific significance.

You can whine and bitch and complain about the way things are all you want but that isn't going to change the state of them. If I see something that I think either A) violates the law or B) violates the rules of this site then I will remove it.

@PurpCat it's just interesting to me that Nintendo catches insane amounts of flak to the point of going overboard and straight up lying about and sensationalizing what happens. Like, let's focus on the things Nintendo actually does wrong and also bag on the other companies when they have missteps.

@PurpCat it's not even bricked in that sense, a console ban does affect the whole console from ever going online, but you can still use it to play games as long as those games are either physical or already downloaded. it's just like having an offline console.
