@Wiz yeah unfortunately ikea doesn't self detolfs anymore, and the new thing they sell that is similar to it apparently isn't too good quality-wise.

i'm going to be buying something secondhand locally. right now all my figures are sitting on a wooden board on top of some makeshit walmart metal rod shelf lol.

i have a floating wall shelf too that i'm not using but yeah i wanna get something that keeps the dust out too.

pre-ordered this cute miku!
unless anything absolutely crazy comes up this is my last pre order this year, i've got a lot of figures and plushes coming and i gotta buy an actual display cabinet for them now...

@veru I just like how you can pay for 1 month and that's it. I don't always need a VPN so it is a nice option instead of buying like an entire year.

@veru I like how you can pay for mullvad with cash still haha

@beardalaxy @kerosene it is and unavoidable clash, really. The deeper forces dictating the direction of the current West are diametrically opposed to the same forces that dictate Japanese culture or especially Anime culture. And I'm not even referring to traditional Christian values and frameworks here because they're not even necessary in order to create this clash of opposed paradigms. Really the Christian angle is virtually completely absent in this conflict, and what we see is a cultural force that is obsessed with destroying culture, meeting a cultural force that is obsessed with animating, breathing life into everything, making it beautiful, and with an inherently positive outlook for the future, even when it comes to apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic scenarios. You could almost say we have on one side a Culture of Death (chaos, derision, deconstruction, defilement) and on the other side a Culture of Healing or Purification (where that which heals and that which is pure are held in admiration). All this could have been avoided, perhaps, if the works of the latter culture would not have been so globally popular, but they are.

@Mr_NutterButter falling down 10 steps but at least I didn't break my head open and someone gave me some candy

@Mr_NutterButter they're slowly going under so they had to break out the furshit again

@irie I've got my windows install tweaked a lot to remove telemetry and all the annoying shit, but if I couldn't do that for some reason I would probably be using mint too, it's really good. Just make sure you really keep up on updates because I've had issues with not updating for too long and it'll skip important shit and brick itself. That's happened twice now.

I kind of have bad luck with Linux, tons of shit I either have to fix or that just flat out doesn't work and nobody seems to know why.

@LittleTom I had a friend that went to Evo 2015 and said it was absolutely dreadful. The smell and the amount of people crammed in to the event made him stay in his hotel room for most of the weekend.

@Eleutheria2 Florida congressman (((Randy Fine))) is gloating about how it took only one phone call from him to get her expelled.

He also refers to her as a muslim terrorist.

@Eleutheria2 @Terry "are we the baddies" isn't even a question, we are and have been for at least 100 years probably longer
