@YeetLibs WinUtil has a setting that turns off windows trying to determine a folder's type. That speeds things up, supposedly. I only have that issue on one folder so I kind of just deal with it.

it seems rpgmaker.net is back online with registrations again! after a year and a half of being down! that's a pretty sweet birthday present. i'll have to get god's disdain updated on there once i get back home. the website went down before i released the game.
